Operating multiple cleanrooms, we have a dedicated ISO Class 7 assembly cleanroom for the production of medical-grade catheters. Our controlled cleanroom environment helps maintain low bioburden and particulate levels, ensuring consistency and compliance throughout the catheter manufacturing process.

Using induction catheter tip forming equipment, we manufacture PVC and PU catheters ranging from 3Fr to 16Fr, supporting both development and production volumes.

RF Catheter Tip Forming Technology

Meridian Medical’s catheter tip forming process uses radio frequency (RF) energy as part of a semi-automated system to precisely shape and close the ends of PVC and polyurethane tubing. This controlled technique can create smooth chamfers with open holes, as well as tapered catheter tips, reducing sharp edges and supporting safe interaction with patient tissue.
